汤山园区是汤山方山国家地质公园园区之一。面积21.05km²，包括汤山、阳山、孔山、湖山。

园区具有世界级意义、距今64-56万年的南京猿人（洞）；600年前造就的天下第一碑材、阳山碑材；中国温泉之乡、流淌千年的温泉；记载7亿多年地质历史的地质剖面走廊。

汤山园区已建有南京猿人洞、阳山碑材、水上乐园、温泉度假区以及入口区、博物馆区。还有锁石村旅游区。

汤山集洞之奇、泉之韵、山之秀、碑之最于一体，具有观光探奇、科普体验、地质教学、休闲度假、沐浴养身、娱乐美食的旅游目的地。

Tangshan Scenic District

Tangshan is one of the two scenic districts of the geopark. With an area of 21.05 km2 it embraces Mt.Tangshan, Mt. Yangshan, Mt. Kongshan, and Mt. Hushan.

The scenic district is thought to be world famous for the Nanjing Ape-man, which lived 0.64-0.56Ma; the ‘top tablet under heaven’ cut in 600 years ago---Yangshan Tablet Material; the hot spring homeland with the hot spring water flowing for over 1000 years; and the geologic section-corridor recording 700 million years geologic history.

There were built up the area of Nanjing Ape-man, Yangshan Tablet Material, Aquatic Playground, Hot Spring Vacationing, Entrance, Museum and Suoshi Village Tourism.

Tangshanhas integrated the grotesqueness of cave, rhythm of spring, grace of mountain and gigantic tablet in one park, serving as a tourist destination, which concentrates the sightseeing, science practice, education on geoscience, recreation and vacationing, bathing and health care, entertainment and cuisine.
